Welcome to Mixed Media Mermaids. My name is Karen Veal. I teach various art techniques from mixed media, watercolor, encaustic, photography, oils, pastels, and digital art. In this course, you will learn various techniques that you can apply to other paintings. I plan on giving a series of short (not more than 3 or 4 hours) lessons to make them more affordable. This is the first in the series. You can take one, or all of the lessons. I grew up in West Virginia and when I graduated high school, I joined the United States Air Force. I now reside on the Forgotten Coast of Florida and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I often donate my time and effort to worthwhile causes.
